Research Use Policy
How CoreMesa Labs supplies research material to qualified researchers and licensed laboratories, and what we will not sell.
Last updated: October 2026
1. Research Use
Every research compound we supply is a research-use-only (RUO) reference material. Research compounds are not drugs, dietary supplements, foods, cosmetics, or medical devices, and are not approved for any therapeutic, diagnostic, or medical application. Every container is labelled “For Research Use Only – Not for Human or Animal Use.” CoreMesa Labs does not provide usage guidance of any kind.
2. Qualified Buyer Policy
We supply laboratories, researchers, academic institutions, biotech companies, contract research organizations, government or non-profit institutions, and other qualified researchers and licensed laboratories. Access to our catalog, pricing, and ordering requires a researcher account. To create an account, a researcher provides their name, email address, and a password (organization or institution is optional), selects a researcher type, and confirms each of the following:
- they are 21 years of age or older;
- all research material will be used for laboratory research use only;
- research material is not for human or animal consumption and is not a drug, supplement, or food;
- they agree to the Terms of Sale and this Research Use Policy; and
- they accept full responsibility for compliance with all laws and regulations that apply to their purchase, possession, and use of research material.
An account cannot be created until every statement is confirmed. The agreement version, the date and time of acceptance, the IP address, and the browser used are recorded for every account. When these terms change, account holders must accept the updated agreement before they can place an order. Every order additionally requires three research-use acknowledgments at checkout before payment begins.
3. Prohibited Use
Research material may not be used for human or animal consumption, therapeutic use, clinical use, diagnostic use, or dietary supplementation of any kind, and may not be resold, relabelled, or distributed for any such purpose. If any information indicates an order is intended for human or animal use, we cancel and refund it and may close the account.
4. Documentation Standards
- Each production lot is assigned a lot number that appears on every container from that lot.
- Lots are analysed by an independent third-party laboratory; the Certificate of Analysis (CoA) reports identity, purity, and net content for that lot.
- CoAs are available to account holders in the catalog’s documentation section, and the CoA or lot record for any shipped lot is available on request from support.
- Order records, research-use agreement and acknowledgment records, and the lot-to-CoA mapping for shipped orders are retained for at least two years and are available to our payment processor on request.
5. Restricted-Material Policy
We supply research compounds only. We do not list or sell, and our checkout blocks before payment:
- needles, syringes, swabs, empty containers, or similar accessories;
- capsules, tablets, pills, sprays, drops, or any other consumer format;
- kits, bundles, or combined packages of different research compounds;
- gift cards, rewards, or promotional items;
- approved pharmaceutical drugs or their generic equivalents, or materials presented with consumer-use claims;
- prescription GLP-1 compounds or retatrutide, under any product name; and
- any material not supported by our payment processor, acquiring bank, card networks, or applicable law.
Research compounds are listed under neutral scientific designations only, never under consumer, brand, or application-based names.
6. Records & Privacy
How we collect, use, and retain account, agreement, and order records is described in our Privacy Policy. Purchases are governed by our Terms of Sale.
